The following is a list of ministries that have been started in the past and looking for volunteers to support the ministry activities in their area. No experience neccessary. We will train anyone wanting to volunteer. Ministry volunteers needed.

Home Small Group Bible Studies - ministry offers study time with adult appropriote discussions on Tuesday mornings. We are offering them currently in the Livingston area. Request details and schedule from george.rogers@the-disciples.org. The events included bible studies, prayer time and Christian fellowship.
Christian Counseling & Mentoring Ministry - Learning to walk daily with Jesus by learning Christian prinicipals as taught in the bible. House of Hope (Drug & Alcohol Rehab for men in Madisonville)
Christian Life Skill Classes - Christian Life Skill audio & video series authored by "Family Life".
Audio & Video sorted by topic and authored by "Family Life", "Charles Stanley", and "Tony Evans". Video programming used for Home Small Group Bible Studies for Christians trying to live in the world.
Nursing Home Ministry - As Christians we are required by Jesus to take care of our elderly family members within our Christian Family. This is done by visiting nursing care facilities in our area. Services included Sunday worship services including sermon & communion, group and individual prayer, bible studys, and Christian counseling. The following is a list of senior facilities in the Conroe & Livingston areas that we have provided pastorial services to: Conroe (Pine Hollow Ranch), Livingston (Country Place Senior Living, Brightpointe Nursing, Timberwood Nursing), Shepherd (Woodland Park Nursing & Rehabilatation).
Yard Cross Minstry - distribution of Christian Crosses in the Polk County area.
Passing crosses at church to families.
Passing crosses at local businesses.
Talking with local churches to start their own distribution.
